About Me

Growing up in Georgia, and going to the beach anytime I could, I’ve always had a strong connection to the outdoors, especially the ocean. That connection has continued to grow throughout my college experience and has helped shape my interest in marine biology. Today, I am a student-athlete at the University of Missouri, where I play football while pursuing my education and developing my interests in the marine environment.

Being a college football player has taught me a lot about discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Balancing the demands of being a student and an athlete has pushed me to become more organized and accountable with my time. Football has also taught me that success does not happen overnight. It takes consistency, preparation, and the ability to keep working toward a goal even when things do not always go as planned. These lessons have become important parts of who I am both on and off the field.

My interest in marine biology comes from my curiosity about the ocean and the incredible ecosystems that exist beneath the surface. I am interested in learning more about marine organisms, ocean ecosystems, and the challenges that threaten these environments. From coral reefs to deep-sea ecosystems, the ocean contains an incredible amount of life that we are still working to understand. Studying marine biology gives me the opportunity to learn about these environments while also exploring ways that people can better protect them.

As I continue my education at the University of Missouri, I want to build knowledge and experiences that will prepare me for a career connected to marine biology and conservation. I hope to combine the discipline I have developed through football with my passion for science and the environment. Whether I am studying in the classroom, competing on the football field, or learning about life beneath the surface, I am always looking for opportunities to grow, learn, and challenge myself.
